Free crochet patterns. The Crazy Cool Kid’s Hat pattern is below.
Child size 3/4 only. Apologies! Additional sizes not available at this time.
Ch 3, join to form ring.
Row 1: Ch 2, 8 hdc in ring. Join with sl st in top of starting ch.
Row 2: Ch 2. 1 hdc in 1st hdc, 2 hdc in ea hdc around. Join with sl st in top of starting ch. 16 hdc (inc starting chain).
Row 3: Ch 2. Repeat row 2 for 32 hdc. Join with sl st in top of starting ch.
Row 4: Ch 2. 1 hdc in 1st st, 2h hdc in next sp, 1 hdc in next sp, repeat pattern to last sp. Join with sl st in starting ch. 47 hdc.
Row 5: Ch 2. hdcdec in 1st two st, 1 hdc in next st, repeat to end of row ending with a hdcdec. Join with sl st. 32 hdc
Row 6: Ch 2. hdc in ea sp. Join with sl st. 32 hdc
Row 7: Ch 2. hdc in next 4 hdc, 2 hdc in next, hdc in next 5, 2 hdc in next, repeat to last two, hdc in ea. Join with sl st. 37 hdc
Row 8: Ch 2. 1 hdc in 1st st, 2 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next. Repeat for 45 hdc. Join with sl st.
Row 9: Ch 2. hdc in the 1st 4 st, 2 hdc in the next, 5 hdc in the next 5, 2 hdc in the next. Repeat to end of row ending with 3 hdc in the last 3 st. Join pink yarn with sl st. (Photo below shows white yarn.)
Row 10: Ch 1. Work 1 sc in ea st to end of row. Join grey with sl st. Tie off pink yarn.
Row 11: Ch 2. hdc in ea sc. Join with sl st.
Row 12: hdcdec in 1st two st, 9 hdc in next 9 st, hdcdec over next two st, repeat to end ending with 6 hdc in last 6 st. Join with sl st. Do NOT tie off.
Row 13: Reverse single crochet in ea st to end. Sl st in last st. Tie off.
