Do you have instructions for Large size
Hi Diane,
Thank you for your question. The detail is in the Etsy pattern but because you asked I’m happy to provide:
For larger sizes, add to beginning foundation chain in multiples of 2, plus 1 (for turning chain). Example: for medium chain 106 plus 1 = 107
Add additional rows for preferred length.
Hope this helps.

I just purchased this pattern and it is exactly the same as what this says . The only thing different in paid version is the gauge information, but everything else is exactly the same . The reason I Purchased this pattern was because it was supposed to have bigger sizes but all you say is to add multiples of two to make larger sizes not a lot of information at all and why would I purchase this pattern if I could just view it for free it doesn’t make any sense.
Dawn
Hi Dawn,
I replied directly to you on Etsy and gave more detailed instructions for larger sizing. I routinely offer basic instructions for larger sizes rather than line by line instructions to be able to keep the pattern pricing super low.
The paid versions of my patterns are offered primarily for Etsy customers who are not readers of CrazyCoolCrochet.com and for those who prefer to have a pattern to print.
Thank you so much for your comment. It will help me determine if I need to make changes to the pattern.
Best,
Sylvia
I found this free pattern. Thank you so much for sharing. Although somehow my work keep going skew. I have counted my stitches and it is the same but somehow it is still slanted on both sides. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Madeleine,
Thank you so much for visiting.
Have you had a chance to view the video? Not sure if that might help. Some skewing is ok and should work itself out when you seam the shoulders and add the sleeves. As you can see in the video, there is some skewing going on when I fold it over to seam the shoulders.
I haven’t had anyone else with that issue so I’m hoping it works out for you. Are you keeping a consistent tension? Tension is often the problem when it comes to skewing.
Best,
Sylvia

could i please get pattern for a size large
Hi Alice,
Thank you for visiting! Here are basic instruction for larger sizes:
For larger sizes, add to beginning foundation chain in multiples of 2, plus 1 (for turning chain). Example: for medium chain 106 plus 1 = 107
Add additional rows for preferred length.
For Large try the foundation chain starting at 112 +1=113 Wrap the chain around your hips to see if it will be enough. Remember to allow for the additional 2″ of border on each side.
Add additional rows for the body and front and back panel strips for preferred length. This will require you to simply hold it up to yourself. Check the bottom underarm to the top of your shoulder for the front panels to find your length. Then increase the same amount of rows for the back panel.
For sleeves, it states to work 45 sc’s. You will simply work as many sc’s evenly spaced to cover the circumference of the opening. Then add as many rows as you prefer to lengthen the sleeves. For rows 32 – 45 you will want to increase to about 50 rows. Again, hold it up against your arm to determine length.

I too am very disappointed, purchased the pattern to get detailed instructions for larger sizes. There should be a warning before paying that the instructions are only for one size; there is so much more to just measuring ones girth and increasing in multiples of 2 +1 to a pattern, sleeves are an issue too, I’ve done so much work on mine, winging it, and the cost of the yarn is another issue, how much to purchase. I feel cheated, I should have been finished this project weeks ago, but every instruction needs tweaking, and constantly trying on, pulling out and redoing!
Hi Sherene,
I am so sorry you are having issues with the pattern. Please contact me via Etsy and I will arrange for a refund. This normally is not done because it is an electronic purchase, but I don’t want you to feel cheated in any way.
As I explained in a previous reply above, I do not offer line by line instructions for additional sizes, but rather offer general instructions for size adjustments. This allows me to keep the prices of my patterns super low. For the most part this has not been an issue.
I do appreciate the feedback and will take your comments into consideration for pattern writing going forward.
Sincerely,
Sylvia

Hello! I started working on your pattern size medium (107 chains) and wanted to know if you still place marker at 17th sc and then another one 12 stitches from first marker and repeat for left side. Not sure if I needed to change the markers. Thanks for your help!
Hi Marty,
Excellent question!
Since you have an additional 6 stitches for Medium (101 ch’s for SM and 107 ch’s for Med), you would adjust for an additional 3 st’s on ea side for both counts (17th sc/20th sc and 12/15).
Double check that the back width is still ok for you. If it’s too small, then adjust the 12/15 count as needed.
I hope this helps!

Thank you. For the body border I do not see to chain one between the 6 rows. It just says: Sc in 1st sp and ea sp evenly around. Sl st at beginning sc. Do NOT turn.
Rows 2 – 6: Working in back loops only, sc in 1st sc and ea sc around, working 2 sc’s in corners (for a rounded corner; enter 3 sc’s for more square corners). At end of ea row, sl st into beginning sc. So I’m guessing no chain 1 is needed. Thanks again!
There is no need to do a ch 1 between the border rows. You are slip stitching to join the row. You are not turning the work so you don’t need to do a ch 1.
I can’t get 45 sc around the armhole could someone figure out what am i doing wrong i am new to crochet everything else on this beautiful project looks good thank you
Hi Lora,
Are you working two sc’s in the spaces around the armhole? You can enter more than one stitch to come up with the 45. Less than 45 and it might be too tight. I hope this helps.

I really love this pattern but small is not my size. I’d happily pay for comprehensive instructions for different sizes. I was on the brink of starting and then saw the very brief instructions to increase the size. Sooooo disappointed.
Hi Rebecca,
This was one of my earliest patterns before I started including detailed instructions for larger sizes.
I did reply to Alice in a comment above with more sizing detail. Hopefully that will be enough instruction to help you.

Has anyone discovered how many stitches in the chain and arm positioning for larger sizes, please? This extra 2 chains information doesn’t help with armhole positioning.

I’m glad I read the comments before doing anything. Sorry but I’m not paying for a pattern that only gives you multiples for the starting chain to make bigger sizes. I’m giving this a hard pass.
Hi Susan,
This pattern has been updated with line by line instructions for multiple sizes. The Etsy listing was re-written to reflect the updated pattern.
This post itself was revised and has a great big BLUE box that says the pattern has been updated. Since you gave it a hard pass without even looking at the post…you won’t see it.
