The matching Cool Crochet Headbandearwarmer would look amazing with this infinity scarf!
Well it will be matching if you use the same yarn as I did with the scarf and the headband. The stitches are different but who wants to be all matchy matchy anyway?
Pattern for scarf below. Or you can head to my Etsy shop and get the pdf version to print: CrazyCoolCrochetUS
Body is worked using extra extended single crochet (eesc). Do not confuse with extended sc. eesc = insert hook in space or chain, yarn over, pull through. YO, pull through one, yo pull through one, yo pull through two. This will correctly result in a single strand to the right of the main grouping.
Ch 200 Slip stich into the first ch to form large ring. IMPORTANT: Before joining with the sl st, the long chain must be absolutely aligned straight. Chains must be facing in the same direction.
Row 1: Ch 4, sk 1st ch, eesc in next ch, ch 1 . Repeat from * to * end of row. Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beginning ch 4. Ch 4. Do not turn.
Row 2: Insert hook to the left of the single strand in row below, work eesc, ch 1. Repeat from * to * to end of row. Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beginning ch 4. Ch 4. Do not turn.
Repeat Row 2 for 15 total rows. Tie off.
Front view and back view (with single strands showing).
Fringe:
Using any object wind yarn around aprox 60x twice, or as many times as necessary get enough 6” lengths of yarn, using 2 per 3” tassel. Cut one side as shown.
With 2 lengths of yarn on hook as shown in photo, pull through a space. With hook, pick up the ends and pull through loop. Repeat about every 3rd space, going around one side of scarf.
