So FAST and so EASY! Make several to give as gifts. This crochet cowl scarf hood uses a bulky, #5 yarn that helps you work it up super quick. Don’t let the term “bulky” turn you off. The yarn used here is super soft and cushy. Perfect for a winter crochet cowl.
The stitch used here, a V stitch cluster, adds the perfect amount of texture and interest. No ho hum designs here!
As with most of my designs, I have created a VIDEO TUTORIAL to help you work up this crochet cowl scarf hood. Be sure to watch on the YouTube platform (click the little button on the bottom of the video below). Watching on YouTube helps my channel. I truly appreciate your support! Don’t forget…I also have an Etsy shop where you can purchase my affordable patterns. Click here to check it out: CrazyCoolCrochetUS.etsy.com

Dimensions: 15 inches from 1st row to last row (up & down); 39 inches around (circumference)
NOTE: We will be working with a variation of a dc2tog (double crochet two together) stitch. Rather than work over 2 st’s to create a dc decrease, we will be working into the same stitch while working the dc2tog (no actual decrease).
Combining two of the dc2tog into the same st will create a Cluster V-Stitch.
NOTE 2: Photos are shown above corresponding rows.
DC2tog: YO for a dc, insert hook into st, pull yarn for 3 loops on hook; pull through 2 loops. YO for a dc, insert hook into same st, pull yarn for 4 loops on hook; pull through 1st 2 loops, pull through last 3 loops.
