Incredible 50 Ponchos Sold!
This is the same pattern that I used for the famous 50 ponchos made and sold in 3 weeks! Those ponchos were children’s sizes so they were much faster to make. This teen/woman’s version still works up fast, but it might take one or two days to complete.
This is the free pattern version. For more details (specific materials list, gauge, larger sizes, etc) and many more how-to photos, please see the Etsy pattern. This blog and Etsy is my only income folks. I truly appreciate your support! CrazyCoolCrochetUS
The Pumpkin Spice Poncho is shown in these photos on a very small/short woman (me). It won’t be nearly as long on an average height adult/teen.
The video below is offered for your convenience as a compliment to the free crochet pattern below. Hi can you tell me the dimensions of each panel? Thanks!
Hi. Great question… The length of each panel is 32 inches and the width is 16 inches. Hope this helps!

Sorry, I’m a little dense. So the length of your row is 16 inches and your 47 rows measure 32 inches.
Loretta, that is correct. And you’re not dense! I will try to be more clear with the dimensions. Thanks for visiting!
How do I make this poncho for a larger, not taller (only 5’2”), person? Maybe an XL.
Hi Kris,
To make a larger size increase you need to increase the beginning chain in multiples of 5 in order to get the v-stitches correct. The poncho, while a size small/medium, runs large already so try increasing the beginning chain (for each panel) by 25. That will make it wider. Do not add more rows as that will make it longer.
Hope this helps!
