Free Crochet Heart Pillow Pattern
Instructions are for an 18 inch by 18 inch pillow.
For 16 x 16 follow instructions in parentheses ( ).
This pattern will not work with smaller sizes.
Materials:
#3, lightweight yarn
Used: Baby Bee Sweet Delight Colors:
Sugarplum [lavender] 1/2 ounce or 20 yards aprox
Violet 1.5 ounces or 140 yards aprox
Toy Elephant [medium gray] 1.5 ounces or 140 yards aprox
Airplane [dark gray] .25 ounce or 10 yards aprox
Flannel [light gray] (also used for back panel) 3.75 ounces or 350 yards
Angel [white] 1.25 ounces or 130 yards aprox
Sunkisses [light yellow] (I changed out the color to cream) 1.5 ounces or 140 yards aprox
Banana [bright yellow] .30 ounce or 12 yards aprox
Crochet hook size G/4.25 mm
Yarn needle
Scissors

Row 13 (8): sc in 1st 30 sp’s with light gray; 1 sc in next sp with dark gray; sc in next 30 sp’s with light gray. Ch 1. Turn
Row 14 (9): using the same color pattern, sc in 1st 29 sp’s with 1st color; 1 sc in ea of next 3 sp’s with 2nd color; sc in last 29 sp’s with 1st color. Ch 1. Turn.

Ch 62 (56) Using your preferred color.
Rows 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea ch across. 61 (55) sc. Ch 1. Turn.
Rows 2 – 69 (64): sc in 1st sp and in ea sp across. 61 (55) sc. Ch 1. Turn. At end of last row tie off yarn.
SEAM
With right sides together, wrong sides facing you, use yarn needle and length of yarn to whip stitch around 3 sides of pillow cover. Turn right side out. Insert pillow. Whip st remaining opening. Tie off yarn.
