In addition to the many free crochet patterns found on this crochet blog, I take it a step further and show crocheters how they can actually earn a full-time income from their crochet skills. And no, you don’t need to be highly experienced or expert! Find out how you can earn a good income from your love of all things crochet HERE. It’s a long read but full of eye-opening information you don’t want to miss.
All of my designs are created to be (mostly) fast and (mostly) easy.
CrazyCoolCrochet.com is made specifically for crocheters who want to learn how and where to sell their creations. However, it doesn’t make much sense to sell for the sake of selling. You want to be properly rewarded for your hard work and special skills. You want to make a profit!
To make a profit you need good profit margins. This means working faster (hence fast, easy crochet patterns) while focusing on patterns that are both trendy and classic. Read more here.
Check out the trendy chunky necklace below (completed in an hour!) and the classic women’s tops (basic stitches but still very stylish!).

Hi Sylvia,
Hey, nice name! LOL!
Thank you so much for all the kind words. I’m so glad you enjoy my work.
For the color block pillow in the Free Patterns/Home Decor section found here https://crazycoolcrochet.com/crochet-color-block-pillow-cover/ to make for a 20×20 inch pillow you should increase the beginning chain by 10 chains as follows:
Foundation Chain: 12 chains with gold, and 53 chains in gray for a total of 65 chains
Row 1: with grey sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 51 ch’s across; in 52nd ch attach gold as follows: complete 52nd sc by dropping grey and grabbing gold yarn for yo and pull through 2 grey loops on hook; continue sc with gold in remaining 12 sc. 64 sc total. Ch1 turn
Thereafter you will need to continue following the pattern increasing and decreasing the colors as indicated.
It should be fairly easy to follow along with the pattern. I hope this helps!!
Best,
Sylvia
