Even if you’re little more than a crochet novice you can still start selling!

I Sold 50 Crochet Ponchos in 3 Wks!

How and Where to Sell?

I’ll be covering the most lucrative options on this blog. These days that would be online: your own website/blog and Etsy.

Not just any old website and not just the usual Etsy shop. We are going to do this RIGHT!

I never wanted to sell on Etsy. My motto was ‘Etsy? No way Jose!’ I had zero interest in being a small fish in a vast ocean teeming with millions of other crafters.

I have since rethought that logic. I did some deep research to see how successful shop sellers actually became successful. Turns out there is a simple formula they all use to stand out from the crowded field. I am now determined to be among that group as an Etsy shop bestseller! Check it out:  CrazyCoolCrochetUS

Follow My New Etsy Journey

I invite you to follow along on my Etsy journey.

I’ll be regularly sharing my Etsy stats with you there.

It might take a while to achieve superstar sales numbers, but Etsy is only one option.

What we are shooting for is multiple streams of crazy crochet income!

My goal here at CrazyCoolCrochet.com is to help you generate some serious coin from your talent, hard work and skill. So let’s get to it!

Start Your Website/Blog Now

I’m going to take you step-by-step with a more detailed how-to post.

I use the loved and respected Bluehost to build and house my site. (Hint: it’s loved and respected because they are so easy and helpful to work with!)

They come highly recommended by me and countless other website owners/developers.)

Disclosure: I do get a commission when you sign up from a link here. This is actually one of the ways I’ll be covering with you that will contribute to your crochet income as well!

If you’ve been mulling over creating your own blog or website and have a name in mind, you’ll want to grab the name (domain) right away. Names go fast so you don’t want to lose out!

Right now it’s only $3.95 a month (holy smokes that’s a deal!) for the whole shebang, the domain name and hosting (and more). You can just hang on to the domain name and start building your site later after you’ve learned the nitty gritty here.

Retail Shops

Selling in retail shops deserves its very own post. I explain in detail how to sell in local retail shops

Permits, Taxes, LLC’s! Oh My!

I’ll also break down in a separate post all the scary stuff like business permits, taxes and all that ugly stuff nobody likes to deal with. It’s painless though, really! No, you won’t need to set up an LLC. Learn more about the Business Side of Blogging (click the link)

Thank you for the poncho pattern…turned out cute…my single crochet on the edge didn’t work at the end….it did on the neck…It made the border look miss shapen so I pulled it out.

I am disabled, or at least the bottom half of my body is disabled 😂, and would love to make some money out of what I crochet. I couldn’t handle the pressure of making YouTube videos at least not yet, and not sure if I could do a website & Etsy. However, profit from my Hobby would be nice!

I have become obsessed with crochet and have started making a hat a day as of late. Can u help me with figuring out price points? Like how much should a hat go for? How much would I charge for a lapgan aka afgan? How much would I charge a scarf, fingerless gloves & hat. Would it be better to sell them as a set or individually? I apologize if u have already blogged about this and if so please give me the link to it. I have just started reading your blog still navigating your post and Youtube videos.

Thank you for sharing all your amazing knowledge. This is proof of what a kind and genuine human being. I sincerely hope your arm heals and you are able to get back to doing what u love. Trust me I know what it’s like to have your body betray you. Sending you healing vibes!🙏🥰

P.S.- Sorry for writing a novel…my friends call me the Novelist in jest. I am a bit long winded! Lol 😆
