Women’s Size XSmall/Small
For larger sizes, add to beginning chain in multiples of 3 plus 1 using an even number for the beginning chain. For example:
Medium use 81 + 1 = 82 chains
Large use 93 + 1 = 94
X Large use 105 + 1 = 106

BODY
Work two identical panels.
Ch 70
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook; *ch 1; sk next ch; sc in next ch*; repeat from * to * to last 2 ch’s. Sk second to last ch; sc in last ch. Ch 1; turn. 69 stitches
Row 2: sc in 1st ch 1 sp; *ch 1; sc in next ch 1 sp*; repeat from * to *. Sc in last ch 1 sp; ch 1; sc in turning ch. Ch 1; turn. 69 stitches
Rows 3 – 66: Repeat row 2. At end of row 66, ch 1. Turn
Add rows as needed for larger sizes. Add additional rows per each larger size.
NECK SHAPING
Row 1: Right side facing, working from edge to center;sc in 1st sp; *ch 1; sc in next sp*; repeat from * to * for 20 stitches total. Sl st in next sp. Ch1. Turn
Row 2: sc in 1st sp (not in sl st); continue in pattern to end. 19 st. Ch1. Turn
Row 3: sc in 1st sp; *ch 1; sc in next sp*; repeat from * to * for 18 stitches total. Sl st in next sp. Ch1. Turn
Row 4: sc in 1st sp (not in sl st); continue in pattern to end. 17 st. Ch1. Turn
Row 5: sc in 1st sp; *ch 1; sc in next sp*; repeat from * to * for 16 stitches total. Sl st in next sp. Do NOT ch. Turn
Row 6: sl st in sl st; sc in next sp; work in pattern to end. 15 stitches. Ch1. Turn
Row 7: Cont in pattern entering 15th st in sl st. 15 stitches. Ch1. Turn
Row 8: sc in 1st sp; cont in pattern for 15 stitches. Ch1. Turn
Continue in pattern at 15 stitches for 15 total (neck shaping) rows. Add rows if needed to fit.
ATTACH AT SHOULDERS
Turn panels right sides together. Attach at shoulders with yarn needle using whip stitch.
SLEEVES
Row 1: Working with right side facing you, attach yarn aprox 6.5 inches from shoulder seam. Adjust placement as needed for larger sleeve opening; add aprox 1 inch per larger size. Ch 1 to secure yarn. Sc in next sp; ch1; cont in pattern, as for the body, for a total of 60 stitches (not counting beginning ch). Ch 1. Turn
Rows 2 – 17: Cont in pattern for 59 st.
Row 18: dec over next two sp (insert hook in 1st sp; yo; two loops on hook; insert hook inside next sc; yo; 3 loops on hook; pull yarn through all 3 loops). Cont in pattern to last two sp’s. Dec over last two sps (do NOT insert hook inside the sc). Ch 1. Turn. 57 st. [You will be using the same dec methods for all dec rows; one edge insert hook into sc, next edge insert in sp’s.]
Row 19 – 32: cont in pattern for 57 sts
Row 33: dec row; repeat row 18 for 55 sts
Rows 34 – 38: cont in pattern for 55 sts
Row 39: dec row; repeat row 18 for 53 sts
Rows 40 – 42: cont in pattern for 53 sts
Row 43: dec row; repeat row 18 for 51 sts
Rows 44 – 46: cont in pattern for 51 sts
Row 47: dec row; repeat row 18 for 49 sts
Rows 48: cont in pattern for 49 sts
Row 49: dec row; repeat row 18 for 47 sts
Rows 50: cont in pattern for 47 sts
Row 51: dec row; repeat row 18 for 45 sts
Row 52 – 70: cont in pattern for 45 sts
Row 71: dec row; repeat row 18 for 43 sts
Row 72 – 74: cont in pattern for 43 sts
Row 75: dec row; repeat row 18 for 41 sts
Row 76: cont in pattern for 41 sts
Row 77: dec row; repeat row 18 for 39 sts
Row 78: cont in pattern for 39 sts
Add rows as needed for larger sizes. Adjust for width of wrist by ending at appropriate row. For example for a medium end with 43 sts and 6 additional rows (beyond the 78 rows).
SEAM SIDES
Working wrong side facing you, with yarn needle and length of yarn, seam along sides and sleeves beginning at bottom of body using same method as for shoulders. Take care to match up rows.
FUR TRIM
Add fur trim to wrists, neck and bottom using a very loose tension.
Right side facing you, attach yarn at seam; ch 1 to secure; sc in every other sp (no ch’s between sc’s). Sl st to join. Tie off.
