To open up the “description area” of the video you need to view it from YouTube. You can do that by clicking where it says YouTube at the bottom of the video.
I will go ahead and give you the detail here:

can you go into more detail on the Hdc row and how it goes into the sc. I am having trouble figuring this out. also how do you keep a straight edge mine keeps becoming slanted.
Thank you for the question Lauren.
Please see the two photos above row 2. It details exactly where to place the hdc inside the sc below.
The edges will skew. That’s normal. After the panels are joined it’s no longer noticeable.
Hope this helps!

You said that the small size requires 9 oz of cotton yarn. And that you need to add 10 more chains for a medium. Can you tell me how much more yarn do you need for a medium size top?
Hi Lydia,
Thank you for the question.
The Hobby Lobby Brand, I Love This Cotton, that I used comes in 3.5 oz skeins. I added the link to purchase online in the pattern above. While I cannot provide the exact ounce amount needed for additional sizes, I would suggest at least 3 skeins for a medium. That will render 10.5 ounces.
I always purchase at least one additional skein just to be safe and then return what I didn’t need (only full, unused skeins of course!).
I hope this helps!

This pattern only uses 9 ounces of this yarn??? That doesn’t seem to be enough.
Hi Crystal,
The 9 ounces is almost 3 skeins of this yarn which is what it takes for a size small. It’s a shorter top as indicated in the photos. If you prefer a little bit longer top then you’ll need more yarn of course.
